My philosophy of instructional design and learning experience design

There is no “one size fits all” method or tool effective for all learning. Learning must be tailored or customized as much as possible. Learning experiences must be designed and facilitated according to the learners’ diverse needs, the context in which they will learn and the expected performance outcomes. In the sphere of education, this means learning that is

  • Differentiated
  • Individualized
  • Personalized

It also means adapting unconventional tools, resources and methods to become effective learning solutions in various situations. The image below contrasting equality and equity depicts my philosophy of design.
